Hier seht ihr einen Fine Art Print auf Hahnemühle der viele kleine Dots zu einer 2-fachen Marilyn Monroe werden lässt. Die Verdoppelung weist einerseits auf ihre Zerrissenheit, und andererseits darauf hin, wie sie wahrgenommen wurde. Der Druck ist mit einer Abstand Plexiplatte versehen die von beiden Seiten mit Acryl bearbeitet wurde - auch hier wieder der Bezug zu unterschiedlichen Seiten/Ansichten/Meinungen.

Here you see a fine art print on Hahnemühle that makes many small dots into a double Marilyn Monroe. The doubling points on the one hand to her rupture, and on the other hand to how she was perceived. The print has a spaced plexiglass plate that has been treated with acrylic on both sides - again the reference to different sides/views/opinions.

Nun, da ist es. Das erste Werk aus der Sponge Serie. 

Der Titel hat weniger mit der aktuellen Narrenzeit zu tun als es klingt. Während ich dieses Pilotprojekt startete fiel wesentlich auf wie unterschiedlich die Schwämme reagierten, obwohl rein technisch untereinander kein Unterschied in der Verarbeitung erfolgte. Da lag der Gedanke zu all den umgebenen Persönlichkeiten doch nah. Vielleicht schwimmt auch etwas Sehnsucht mit, so bunt und kontaktfreudig miteinander “eins/ig” zu sein. Eingefasst, oder eher gebettet sind die Schwämme in einer Metallwanne - ich liebe dieses Format!! Mit 206x64cm kein kleines Energiepaket! Optimal hängt es lichtdurchflutet.

Well, here it is. The first work in the Sponge series. 

The title has less to do with the current fool's time than it sounds. While I was starting this pilot project, I noticed how differently the sponges reacted, although technically there was no difference in the processing. So the thought of all the surrounding personalities was obvious. Perhaps there is also some longing to be "one" with each other in such a colourful and sociable way. The sponges are enclosed, or rather bedded, in a metal tub - I love this format!!! With 206x64cm no small energy package! Optimally it hangs flooded with light.

Holy shi*, love it!!

Inspiriert durch Comicpanels und Hingabe zu Kontrast und selbstbewusstem Schwarz aller Nuance. Liebe zu Papier. Unter grandioser musikalischer Beschallung durfte es in ital. Espresso baden und unter niederrheinischer Sonne schnelltrocknen. Es erhielt den markanten Kontrast durch liquides Acryl, deep BK.

Alle sheets wurden glattgepresst, angeordnet und auf eine sich ausdehnende Schichtholzplatte fixiert. Jetzt war die Rahmung durch eine PlxGlas Box klar um die homogenen Bewegungen des Papiers zu den weichen Bögen des Holzes optisch aufzufangen - das veredelt es X fach!

Inspired by comic panels and dedication to contrast and confident black of all shades. Love for paper. Under a grandiose musical soundtrack, it was allowed to bathe in Italian espresso. It was allowed to bathe in Italian espresso and dry quickly under the Lower Rhine sun. It received the striking contrast through liquid acrylic, deep BK.

All sheets were pressed smooth, arranged and fixed on an expanding plywood board. Now the framing by a PlxGlas box was clear to catch the homogeneous movements of the paper to the soft bows of the wood optically - that refines it X times!
